Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! They call me Pinto and I’m 10 pounds of terrier mix fun. People tell me I’m 3 or 4 years old and that I have an adorable overbite. Look into my eyes and let me tell you a story! I used to be a street dog, just running around avoiding capture and I was doing pretty good until I wasn’t. Some quick human got hold of me and took me to the shelter, what a terrifying place that was! It seems no one was missing me so I was taken in by the nice folks at UAAF. I’m learning how to be a good boy now and want to be YOUR best boy ever!
I love playing with toys. Sunbathing, and cuddles with my family. I do pretty well with the dogs I’m living with but I can be a bit aggressive with food and toys with the big dogs when I had a sleepover. Where I live now, they feed me in a crate, so I don’t think I need to fight for my food.
I am a submissive boy when humans approach. I will lay down and sometimes have a bit of an accident, so I need someone with patience to help me build confidence. I use the dog door they have here, and will sleep quietly in a kennel if that’s what you want me to do. But I also do very well curled up in a dog bed overnight. If you think you can handle my cuteness, I’d love to meet you.
Pinto has been neutered, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and has been microchipped.
