My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scarlette was adopted by a roommate of mine in 2017, concurrently with the adoption of another kitten by a second roommate, Gardenia. Upon both of my roommates leaving a few years later, they decided they no longer wanted to/were able to care for each of their cats, and because I had built up a relationship with both of them, and due to their bonded nature, I agreed to take over care of them. Unfortunately, I've developed debilitating allergies to them both, and can no longer care for them myself.

Scarlette is fairly low-key and lazy, but will play if you have the right toys. She loves deli turkey and cooked shrimp, and WILL attempt to run off with your food if you don't guard it well. She does sleep in bed with you, but isn't insistent upon it, and tolerates a decent amount of manhandling before getting irate. She won't bite, but she will snap or bat at you if really pushed. She is not declawed.
