My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

# 🐾 Hi, I'm Boreum! 🐾

Hello there! My name is Boreum, which means "full moon" in Korean, and just like the full moon, I bring light and joy wherever I go. I'm a 4-year-old Lab/Jindo mix with a snowy white coat that's as soft as it looks. I tip the scales at a healthy 25 kg, and I'm all fixed up and ready to find my forever home.

## My Rescue Story 🏠
I was rescued from a kill shelter, a place no dog should ever have to be. But that's all behind me now! Two years ago, I had a urinary stone, but I've fully recovered and am healthier than ever.

## A Little About Me 🌟
I'm the kind of pup who loves affection. I'll approach you, whether we've met before or not, and if you're up for it, I'll even show you my belly as a sign of trust. I'm a friend to all, and I love to greet new dogs, though I prefer playing with those I'm familiar with.

## My Personality 🐶
**Affectionate**: I'm all about love and cuddles.
**Belly Show-Off**: Once we're friends, you'll get to see my belly – it's my way of saying I trust you!
**Cat Curious**: Cats intrigue me, but I'm always respectful and follow my human's lead.
**Chill Indoors**: After a fun day outside, I'm all for quiet time and relaxation.
**Leash Pro**: I'm experienced in walks and don't pull on the leash.
**Food Sharing**: I don't guard my food; I believe in sharing the love.
**Kennel Calm**: I stay calm in a kennel, it's like my zen zone.
**Car Savvy**: I can hop in and out of cars all by myself, like a pro!

## My Dream Home 🏡
I've been in a foster home for 2 years, so I know the ropes of being a great house dog. I'm looking for a family that will appreciate my loving nature and my playful side with dogs that match my energy level. I adore people, and I promise to be the most loyal and affectionate companion you could wish for.

If you're looking for a moonbeam to brighten your life, I'm your boy!

**Warm snuggles and happy tail wags,**
Boreum 🐕🤍

More about this rescue

Chenny's Happy Tails Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
