My name is Nut!

I adopted Nut 10 years ago. She is approximately 12 years old. She is my best friend and it absolutely breaks my heart to be writing this right now.

We recently moved into my boyfriend's home with his 4 year old. The child doesn't not understand how to adjust her behaviors around anxious and reactive dogs. Despite trying very hard for the last 6 months, it's just not working.

She is an absolute snuggle bug. She loves going for walks and has some high bursts of energy, but is very content at this stage of her life to just snuggle up with you all day and all night. She is very loyal and will absolutely pick her favorite person/people. She is great with older kids and all people. She can be dog selective; she does best with male dogs. She's a great mouser and enjoys the chase. She also loves dog puzzles. She is completely housebroken and can hold it for around 12 hours if necessary.
