My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

# 🐾 Hi, I'm Leaf! 🐾

Hey there, future family! I'm Leaf, a 5-year-old Lab mix with a heart of gold and a coat to match. I weigh a sturdy 24.8 kg, and I've been told my beige gold fur shines like the sun. I'm fixed, friendly, and looking for a place to call home.

## My Rescue Story 🏠
My past is a bit of a mystery; I was found wandering with a black leash, a lone wanderer in search of a friend. I ended up in a shelter, and it was a close call, but I was rescued just in time. Now, I'm all about living life to the fullest and finding joy in every day.

## A Little About Me 🌟
I'm the kind of guy who loves affection. I'll come right up to you, whether we've met before or not, and if you're up for it, I'll lean in for some good ol' petting. I'm great with kids and take treats gently, especially from little hands.

## My Personality 🐶
**Affectionate**: I'm all about love and cuddles.
**Kid-Friendly**: Little humans are my favorite, and I'm always gentle with them.
**Social Butterfly**: I'm friendly with dogs of all sizes and love to invite them to play.
**Curious Explorer**: I've got a nose for adventure but also enjoy peaceful rest after a day out.
**Leash Manners**: I'm experienced in walks and usually don't pull on the leash.
**Food Sharing**: I don't guard my food; I'm all about the peace and love.
**Kennel Trained**: I stay calm in my kennel, it's my safe space.
**Potty Trained**: I do my business outside, keeping the indoors clean.

## My Dream Home 🏡
I was saved from a tough spot, but I haven't lost my joy or kindness. I'm energetic and love greeting everyone with a wagging tail. I'm still learning the fun of playing with balls, but I'm a quick learner. I know some cool tricks like sitting and giving paw, and I'm eager to learn more.

I'm looking for a family that will see the love in my eyes and give me the chance to shine. I promise to be your loyal companion, your ray of sunshine on cloudy days, and the friend who's always there for you.

**Happy wags and gentle nuzzles,**
Leaf 🐕💛

More about this rescue

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
