My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stripes!

This gal is looking for her forever home, Stripes has a pretty special story - and she's been so resilient with trying to leave her past in the past and move on! Stripes is such a happy girl, and appreciates when people have patience when getting to know her, because she can be a little nervous at first. Stripes is doing her best to learn how a home environment and routine works and recently spent some time in one of our foster homes so we could get to know her more outside of the shelter environment!

Here is what our foster had to say:

She is definitely the true definition of a velcro dog, and will likely pick her person(s) and want to have all sorts of attention anytime she can. She loves her crate, and definitely views it as her safe place - it will be important her forever home uses a crate to offer her so she has somewhere to go when feeling overwhelmed in the world.

She seems much happier around another dog, and it would likely be best in a home with a confident companion canine friend. She is definitely your typical puppy, and has lots of energy and is excited to run around and play!

Stripes is such a sweet gal, and with time and patience and good routine and lots of positive reinforcement, getting involved in puppy classes and socialization classes will be super helpful in her growth. She will be a great addition to her family, and we ask the whole family, including canine siblings comes in to meet her!
