Dede is approximately ten years-old, thirty pounds, and appears to a cattle dog mix. She’s a super sweet girl, but is very scared in new situations. Because of that, she needs an owner who will let her come out of her shell on her time. The first couple of days in her foster home, she mainly just wanted to stay in her crate with the door open. Dede would venture out, but if human or dog moved too quickly, she’d run back to the safety of her “den”. After about a week though, she was feeling a lot more confident and was out and about with the other dogs with no issue. She has been the perfect dog since. Housebroken - check! Housetrained – check! Good with other dogs once she knows them – check! She’s very sweet and loving once she knows you, although children make her nervous.
