If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Louie is an 11 year old Pomeranian that my daughter really loves. She’s a teenager so she doesn’t have the time to spend with him that he deserves. The person who would adopt him would have to be okay with her occasionally asking to see him, especially at first. She’s a teenager so this might start off as something that happens more often in the beginning. An occasional picture showing he’s doing well would be greatly appreciated. We prefer he go into a home with no other dogs. I'm not sure how he will do with a cat, but I will tell you that he does not pay any attention to other animals. He ONLY wants to be with his human companion, cuddle and be petted. He doesn’t enjoy going on walks or playing with toys. He’s low maintenance, however, for the years that we’ve had him we have been unable to prevent him from having the occasional accident. Full disclosure, that is why we are unable to keep him. All in all we want Louie to go to a home where he is loved. He deserves it.
