My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Junior and Ruby! These 2 pups were an owner surrender due to the owners having no time to care for them, they were often let out to roam freely on the streets. Junior is a 1yr old male tan and white beagle mix with a super fun personality! He is starting to come out of his shell more and more, will walk on leash and is almost housebroken. Ruby is a 2-3 yr old female terrier mix and more on the shy side. She will take some time and patience to learn that people are not scary, but when she opens up she is the sweetest most loving girl! She walks well on leash and is also almost housebroken. Both pups are fixed, microchipped dewormed and current on vaccines. We would love for them to go to a home together because they really rely on, and comfort each other, but they can be separated as well. If you would like to meet these sweet babies who deserve a loving forever home please fill out an application at https://www.ozziespoundpuppies.org/applications/adoption-application/
adoption fee $300 (one fee waived if adopted together)

More about this rescue

Ozzies Pound Puppies is an all breed dog rescue based in Concord, CA. Our volunteers are committed to rescuing unwanted and abandoned dogs from the public and from shelters. Ozzies is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that receives no government funds. You can help make a difference for a shelter dog by fostering, adopting, volunteering or donating.

WHAT WE DO
Every day, hundreds of dogs are euthanized in shelters across the nation. City and county shelters are overrun with stray and surrendered dogs and have run out of space, this is why they have to euthanize dogs. Dogs are only given a short time to be adopted and then they get put down. Our Rescue will take in dogs that have run out of time at the shelter and find homes for them, thus freeing up shelter space and finding adoptable dogs a new family.
