My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We have a transport trip to NorCal and OR on 5/11/24 and would love to add Kelsie for the right family! Transport will be divided between all adopting families.

Meet Kelsie! She is a purebred 6 month old 13.5 lb salt and pepper miniature schnauzer.
She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, had a dental exam and had to have two baby teeth removed that hadn't fallen out yet, but had overall great dental health and didn't need a cleaning, she also had a recent nail trim, had both ears examined, and cleaned, and had a wonderful exam with our vet whome has cleared her to find a home all her own.

She is house trained, and has been doing wonderful going out when asked to if she needs to. Her new owners will definitely need to keep a scheduled routine with her moving forward so she continues doing well ❤️ She is crate trained, and will sleep in her crate at night or while you are away for an errand, or evening dinner. She also, loves to sleep in bed with you as well and is very respectful of shared space but won't turn down a cuddle session either ☺️

She is leash trained, and really loves her walks whenever she can get them!

She is wonderful with ALL dogs, big or small. However she really loves human affection and attention over dog friends even at her young age. She is very Velcro to her person, and will follow them everywhere. She aims to please, and wants to make her human proud of her ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Training has come very easy with her, and as long as you are a confident owner, it will come easy for you as well moving forward.

She is a talker at times, and will voice her opinion on matters that she feels strongly about 😂 so we are looking for someone familiar with the breed, and someone who has a love for all that comes with a "talkative schnauzer girl," 🙃
She truly is amazing, and I love everything about her, and don't mind a strong minded girl, so if you don't either; then she would be an amazing new addition to your life!

She is NOT a barker, but again, very much likes to have conversations however she can fit herself into them 😅

She is amazing with women, men, and children and has taken a special liking to my husband and son which in my opinion is a great thing because a lot of times male figures are the last for any dog to attach to pending their background. And Kelsie just has a special place in her heart for male figures. She loves women too! Just loves men a little more 😊💕

Her adoption fee along with its breakdown is on our website at breadoflifek9refuge.org under her listing. It covers her spay, vaccines, microchip/registration, two baby teeth extractions, ear cleaning, nail trim, antibiotic shot given to aid in her healing, and her exam along with her overall time and care since with us, and her training we have personally done with her.
