My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Adeline Sage! "Addie is an 11- month old Dachshund mix weighing 18.4lbs, who is full of life and loves to cuddle. She loves to play with her toys, is very intelligent and food motivated so her training is going amazingly well. Addie has been doing fantastic with her potty/kennel training. She knows what "no "leave it "kennel/or time for bed and "come means. Her fosters are working on sit and stay this week and she's def a quick study. Addie has been introduced to dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, bearded dragons, and chickens. She loved her meet and greets and immediately became bffs with everyone. She's also been around children ages 15 and 11 years. She has greeted some neighbor kids that range from 2yrs and 7yrs- she wagged the entire time and gave kisses. Adeline does seem to be fearful of some men.

Her favorite thing in the world besides her babies (toys) is any kind of toy that makes her think and explore how to get her treats out of it- the trick is not letting her see how you placed the treat inside the toy; if not she gets it out immediately (yup... she's that smart)!

Adopt Adeline Sage today and embark on a journey of endless cuddles, laughter, and tail-wagging fun!

Adeline is spayed, up to date on shots, hw negative and microchipped. She would benefit from someone who is home as she has some separation anxiety and she needs to gain some confidence being alone.

Adoption fee is: $200

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

More about this rescue

CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
