My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you're thinking that now it's spring, maybe it's time to find yourself a dog. I'm a dog for all seasons! I'm no longer a puppy, but a full-grown youngster. I love to go for runs, play in the yard and then curl up beside you while watching TV. Great age, great size and great personality.

A team member shares, "Jacky was very excited to get out when I saw her in the morning, but she knows sit which is very helpful. As soon as we went out we went straight for the park and she had a ball!! She ran around like a woman freed of all her worries! She has a huge stride and enjoyed running. After time in the park, she was much better on leash and we took a long walk. She was a sweetheart and enjoyed getting a belly rub when we got back to her kennel."

Another team member notes: I spent time with Jacky in her room. She was very excited to see me (I had not met her before). She has lots of energy and loves people. As soon as I sat down, she had her paws on my lap and wanted to give me lots of kisses. I also gave her back rubs; which she enjoyed. On a later visit, she quickly learned "sit" in response to a treat. She also did well with "settle" and was learning "down". She is VERY treat motivated.
