Kyle is the best of all worlds: very smart, beyond sweet, extremely playful and energetic but glad to snooze between activities. He is also exceedingly handsome and can hardly make it down the block without someone stopping him to compliment his eyes! He arrived to his foster home already knowing a few key commands (sit, lie down, stay, etc.) and is totally housebroken. Kyle absolutely adores all of his toys and can’t believe his good luck every time he gets home and finds them there waiting for him; even after long walks, he jumps right into playtime. Kyle is very responsive to his foster mom, listens well, and is phenomenal at following household rules. He likes to chew, but understands perfectly which items are his and which are off-limits. If he wants to gnaw on something, he’ll grab one of his toys himself. Kyle loves interactive playtime, but as long as his foster mom is nearby, will often play by himself or doze on the couch. (That said, he considers his nightly game of fetch a nonnegotiable.) Kyle manages to get in lots of running, fetch, and tug-of-war in his current one-bedroom apartment, but would likely really thrive with access to off-leash outdoor space such as a yard once he's adopted. He’d also love to stand up and give you a gentle hug if you let him!
