My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mouse's basic bio is below, but we maintain more detailed information about each of our animals on our website, which is also always up to date with animals removed immediately once they are adopted. Please visit Mouse's page on our site (https://www.muddypawsrescue.org/adoptable?dog=007660) to learn even more about Mouse!

Additionally, please note that the breed listed for Mouse is just our best guess based on the dog's physical features. We cannot make any guarantees about the accuracy of our guesses.

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO VOLUME, WE ARE GENERALLY UNABLE TO RESPOND TO INQUIRIES MADE USING THE 'ASK ABOUT ME' BUTTON. Please reach out to us directly using the contact information on our website: www.muddypawsrescue.org.

Hello there! My name is Mouse! As my name suggests, I am a teeny little thing. My foster mom says I have the cutest mouse squeaks, which I let out for attention, food, really, whatever I'm trying to communicate. Though a native NYCer, I don't do well with busy streets and loud noises. I don't mind the Brooklyn sidewalks in the early morning and quiet nights, but I prefer the quiet park in the daytime. However, my foster mom said today that I am getting so brave, walking more each day!

I haven't been the best boy when it comes to potty training, but foster mommy told me that once I get neutered (tomorrow- 5/9), I will likely be much better in that department. My foster dog sister and I ignore each other. I'm sometimes afraid of dogs on the street, but I never bark at them. I've got a feline cat brother; I'm suspicious of him and keep my distance.

I'm really a good boy, and I'm just looking for some love. And, apparently, my age is in the double digits, but my body didn't get that message. I'm a spry young fellow!
