My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Gordo, the dashing black-and-white Boston Terrier with a heart of gold. Born around May 16, 2014, this handsome boy is ready to steal your heart.

Despite his robust build, weighing in at a hefty 35.7 pounds, Gordo is a gentle giant overflowing with love and affection.

Gordo's story began with a twist of fate, as he was surrendered by his previous family due to circumstances beyond his control. But don't let that deter you, because Gordo's spirit remains unbroken, and he's eager to find a new family who will give him the love and care he deserves.

One of Gordo's many admirable qualities is his impeccable potty training skills. He's a pro at doing his business in all the right places, making him an ideal companion for any household. Plus, he's up to date on all his vaccinations, including testing negative for heartworms. As an added precaution, he received 12 months of protection with a ProHeart 12 vaccine and is currently on Bravecto to keep him safe from parasites.

Gordo may need to shed a few pounds to reach his ideal weight, but he's determined and ready for the challenge. After all, who doesn't appreciate a little extra motivation to stay healthy?

When it comes to walks, Gordo is a natural. He walks like a pro on a leash, making outdoor adventures with him an absolute delight.

If you're searching for a loyal and loving addition to your family, look no further than Gordo. His adoption fee is $400, a small price to pay for the endless joy and companionship he'll bring into your life.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to make this wonderful boy a part of your family. Apply to adopt Gordo today at www.adoggie4you.org and give him the forever home he deserves.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested
All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella, heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped.

Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200.
We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.

Our dogs are posted on our website. Generally they live at our facility located on a beautiful 100 acre ranch in Texas. We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dog. We pride ourselves in providing a complete and honest evaluation of each dog to ensure the best possible placement for both the dog and the adopter. We welcome your visit to our facility in Texas.
