My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Barnaby, a young canine resident of our shelter. He`s a bit shy at first, but don`t let that fool you. Once he warms up to you, he is the epitome of sweetness. Barnaby loves to cuddle and he`s always ready for a good snuggle. He may be a little timid, but he`s also brave, always ready to explore new environments. His gentle nature makes him a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a loyal friend. Barnaby`s sweetness isn`t just sugar-coated, it`s genuine and heartfelt. He has a unique ability to sense when you need comfort and will be there to provide it. His cuddly nature is perfect for those lazy Sundays when all you want to do is curl up with a good book. Barnaby is the perfect pet for someone who values the quiet moments in life. Adopt Barnaby and experience the sweet, cuddly love he has to offer.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
