Hi everyone! I’m Cookie! I’m sugar and spice and everything nice!
We don’t really know how old I am but based on how bad my teeth were when I was found, the vet says likely 2-3 years old. Unfortunately, because of the infection I had, all my teeth, except one, were removed. But don’t worry, I eat my kibble just fine, and enjoy my “cookies” before bedtime.
I LOVE to be around you, so my perfect forever home would have someone home for me to “work” with. I’m an excellent colleague and CEO in the making!
I also love to sleep with (and on) you if you’ll let me. Really, I’m possibly part lap dog! If you like almost 24/7 togetherness then I’m your girl!
I’ve decided I’m not a fan of my foster canine sister but I do like my feline brother and sister. They sometimes think I’m too much, so I might do better with a younger sibling than an older one. I get spicy sometimes but not in a bad way although it might not be ideal for smaller kids who don’t understand cat zoomies and craziness as sometimes I do play bites in my wackiness.
I promise though I will love and snuggle you forever and ever if you pick me!

Additional adoption info
All of our pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and given a flea preventative before they are available for adoption. Cats and kittens are also tested for feline leukemia (FELV) and the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and must be negative to enter the adoption program.
Our adoption fee of $125 for adult cats and kittens covers only a small fraction of the cost of rescuing, rehabilitating, and housing these homeless animals. Donations help us to provide veterinary care, medicine, vaccinations, food, kitty litter, and other supplies, so that the only limit on our foster caregivers is the size of their homes – not the size of their pocketbooks.

More about this rescue
We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing, fostering and finding permanent loving homes for as many abandoned, homeless, and stray animals as we can. Texas has comparitively higher number of homeless pets than other US States.
Most of our pets live in foster homes before they are available for adoption to ensure they are healthy, socialized, and ready to become a part of your family.
