Posting this on behalf of my fiancé and I. Please do not judge us. We were only doing the right thing.
We adopted this senior dog from the DAS. His name is BJ and wanted him out of the shelter due to him being 12 years old and at risk for being put down this Saturday. He has heartworms but got the heartworm shot. He needs more care than we can give him right now after taking him to an actual vet and discovered he has arthritis in his back legs and our current dog overwhelms him. We are hoping to find a calm and peaceful home for his golden years. We live in Dallas but are willing to drive 45-60 minutes away if needed. We are very sad about making this choice.
