Mr. Kiki is a 15-17 year-old, 5-pound male chihuahua mix from the NYCACC.
He has adjusted very well during his time in the city. Kiki enjoys snuggling, meeting other dogs and exploring during his walks. He doesn't know any commands as yet but we're working on the basics.
During his time with his foster family, he seems to be housetrained, outside. He also knows how to use a wee pad. KIki walks well on a leash; he loves going out
Kiki is a sweet, bright and loveable pup. His forever family will need to continue working with Kiki to reinforce and advance the progress he's been making. Kiki has done well when home alone and has shown no signs of separation anxiety
He loves to be cozy with his) foster family. He isn't much interested in toys, but he loves to be around his people. Kiki is looking for a quiet or low-key family. He appreciates downtime and active moments alike. He does well with another dog and also gets along with cats. We would recommend Kiki go to a home with no small children due to his size. He's a doll!
Vaccinated for rabies, DA2PP, and bordetella. Heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
To apply for Kiki, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the dog is on our website, they are still available.
Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable dog, or final size of any of our adoptable puppies. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the dog into our rescue.
