You're actually adopting a little super star by adopting this special boy. He's a super fun loving guy, looking to be your ride or die all day long, then your lap dog come evening. He's uninterested in the resident barn cat (but he has no fear of dogs), and has been around horses. Fantastic walking on a leash, can be on a tie out, and while a fence is great, hasn’t been necessary as he has fantastic recall. He's also great in the car!
Ideal Home/Adopter: Looking for an active home (hiking, running, agility, continues training classes, etc) ideally with a dog his size or larger that can match his energy level. No small children (12+ because of his energy level and need for structure) and no small dogs (again, high energy). He needs an outlet for his energy, but also needs timeouts to recover from his energy expenditure. Will need his new family to continue to work very hard on his patience and self-soothing, and monitor over stimulation. Has basic obedience but he is just a pup and has a lot to learn but very treat motivated.
Anderson Cooper's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative.
