Meet Nala! She is about 1 year old, 15 lbs, and she is a Mutt! In her foster home, she is working hard on house-training, crate training and needs work on her leash walking. She could go to a home with kids 5+, cats (might chase) and other dogs. No apartments, please due to barking.
Her foster says, "Nala is an awesome little dog. She loves to play with anyone. She wants to be center of attention. She is very sweet and full of energy to play. She is good with cats and any other dog. She is great on the leash and easily crates. She spends all night in her bed without any accidents. Sometimes she is in her pen on the porch and never even goes in there until I let her back out in the yard. She loves naps on the sofa in the afternoon, and getting a good brushing. She is very gentle and whoever gets this little girl will have a great companion. I will miss her much but am excited for her to get her forever home. She is fine on her own but will do very well with other pets."
She is available for adoption with an approved adopter in Dartmouth, MA on May 24th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises. -Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt. - More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
