Meet Norton
Introducing Norton!

Norton is an adorable Chiweenie / Terrier mix puppy who is approximately 4 months old and currently weighs 5 pounds. We rescued this little guy from the Weslaco shelter in South Texas near the border of Mexico. We don’t know how he ended up in the shelter but we are so happy he is here with us to find his loving, forever home.

Norton is a typical happy, playful puppy! He is very sweet, social and enjoys exploring and playing here at the rescue. He is curious and enjoys being held. He has a big, dynamic personality and in true terrier fashion, he is very smart and likes to be busy and engaged.

We can really see Norton doing well in a home where he can get lots of attention and playtime with his family. He will be a good fit for family who understands and has experience with the terrier breed and will be a great companion to go on adventures..

As with any puppy, Norton would benefit from basic obedience training to help him learn his manners and be the best puppy he can be. He would be a wonderful, loyal companion to grow up in just about any family environment. He enjoys playing with other dogs and would be a fun buddy for another dog his size. We have no idea who mom and dad are so we can only estimate that any will be a smaller medium-sized dog full grown. He is just a fun-loving puppy who can’t wait to find a home of his own!

Norton is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and will be available for adoption after May 11th , 2024.

Prior to adoption, Norton will be neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations/shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $375. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application.
