Deacon is ready to find his forever home! He is a 14 lb, 8 year old, Pomeranian mix. His ideal home would be with someone who works from home or is home most of the time. Deacon’s absolute favorite thing is playing ball. He is obsessed and could play fetch all day long. He can get a little possessive of his ball so we are recommending a home without children or with older kids who understand not to take it away from him. Deacon walks well on a leash, is friendly with everyone he meets, is potty trained, and kennel trained. If you are interested in adopting Deacon, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org
*Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days.
*You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck
*Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org
Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee
Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee
Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs.
