Penn is an active, happy dog who loves his people fiercely. It is with heavy hearts that we are seeking a new home for our crazy, goofy doggo.
Penn is a 5 year old, highly intelligent Bernedoodle who we got from a breeder out of Michigan. He was the biggest and most rambunctious of his litter and a challenging puppy. We worked hard to train him (with experts) and have come a long way in his control and behavior in the home. He is very active and loves to play fetch, but also is able to relax and snuggle throughout the day.
Our challenge with Penn comes only when there are strangers around. He is reactive to strangers and protective of his home and his people. This has led to him being reactive to our neighbors, friends and family. Once someone is properly introduced to him and he gets his fill of sniffs, he is happy to play and be pet.
Penn would thrive in a place with a fence and room for fetch. He does need to be managed with new people, but does well in his crate.
