My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trixie is a high-energy, vocal girl who loves to stay busy and explore the world around her. She enjoys running around the yard, playing with toys, and going on long walks. Fetch is still a work in progress, but she’s enthusiastic and eager to learn!

Trixie does well with dogs who match her size and energy level and could be a great playmate for the right canine friend. She is nervous around cats in the shelter and would need close supervision in a home with cats due to her energy.

Because she gets very excited and can accidentally knock little ones over, Trixie would do best in a home with older kids who can handle her size and enthusiasm.

She’s still working on some of her basics, including leash manners and house training, as she can be easily distracted. Trixie already knows sit, lay down, and shake, and is currently learning wait—she’ll thrive with consistency, training, and an active family committed to helping her succeed.

If you’re looking for an adventurous, energetic companion who’s ready for lots of walks and playtime, Trixie might be your girl! ??
