My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Leon! He is a sweet senior boy looking for his furever home! Leon is a bit unstable when walking and would do best in a home with out young children. He would benefit most being in a home with someone who could be with him most of the day. Due to a recheck at the Veterinarian he needs to be adopted in the Madison or Huntsville area. For more info about him and his medical needs, give us a call and ask to speak to a staff member. Apply to adopt Leon at ghhs.org!

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
