My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable super model is currently accepting applications for new Best Friend Forever. The ideal candidate will have some experience in treat administration (lots of em), nice walks around the neighborhood, and access to a soft couch. The chosen BFF will be fairly compensated in snuggles, lap warming, and endless love. We'd work for you any day, Miss Becker!

Here's some notes from her foster:

Miss Becker is a petite little lady who has such a gentle and sweet spirit. Since the day she arrived at my house, she has quietly been my shadow, joining me as I travel from room to room. Her affectionate personality has been apparent since Day One. However, for the first couple of weeks in my home, I could tell she wanted a relationship with me but she was a bit scared of my hands reaching towards her. It was too much, too fast. Now, however, she feels safe and comfortable, and enjoys my long pets and snuggles. She will thrive in a quiet environment where she is given loving patience as she settles in, and will ultimately be a perfect, loving pup. She LOVES food and I found that by handing her treats a lot, she started to see me as soul-mate material.

She is a distinguished older little lady. She is up for short walks, but does not identify as an athlete at heart. Miss B. is completely fabulous with other dogs. She hangs out like a champ and all of my other dogs are happy and comfortable with her. Although I don't have cats, I imagine she would be a nice, respectful companion with cats too.

Mis B is an introvert, at heart, and I've only heard her bark in enthusiasm when her meals are being prepared. She's good about doing her potty business when I take her outside, and I also have pee pads around the house, which she uses.

I love this easy-keeper so much and I am excited for her to be adopted by someone who will love and spoil her too.

More about this rescue

Muttville is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving the lives of senior dogs. On a local level, Muttville rescues senior dogs and finds them foster homes or gives them hospice. On a global level, Muttville provides information about caring for older dogs and support for people who do.

Through associations with shelters and other animal organizations, Muttville finds senior dogs that have been given up and are not likely to find adopted homes. Through outreach and networking, Muttville finds suitable foster homes for these dogs. Ultimately, Muttville will have its own facility to house dogs that are not yet placed, or that are unlikely to be placed.
