My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Holli! Holli is roughly a 6-month-old purebred Cane Corso. She was surrendered to a vet office when she became too much for her owners to handle.

Holli does need basics manners, socialization, and to learn that arms are not chew toys! So we are going to continue training with her for another couple of weeks but if we get an applicant nearby, we'd like to get them involved with some training.

Holli is housebroken, crate trained, does walk well on a leash and seems to like everyone she's met so far.

Cane Corso's are an awesome breed but will get big, our goal is to make sure Holli reaches her full potential. When applying for Holli, please be specific about your training plans.

We are allowing Holli to decompress a bit so she has not been tested with dogs or cats quite yet.

Holli is up to date on her distemper, is spayed, had a wellness exam and is on a deworming schedule. She's also microchipped.

If you are interested in Holli, please fill out an application on our website and a volunteer will be in touch. https://foreverfido.org/adoptable-dogs/ If you email us through Adopt-A-Pet, you will be directed to do so before we speak with you. So you will save time completing the application first.

Our adoption fee also covers post-adoption support. Please see our adoptable dogs page for more information.

****Forever Fido Puppy Rescue is located near Rochester, MN. We will not ship dogs and a Meet & Greet with the dog you are interested in is required to be done in person.****

Additional adoption info

The dogs in our care will be adopted out with an updated vet exam, they will be up to date on their rabies (if of age), and DHPP. All dogs will also be microchipped and dewormed. If they are of age, they will also be altered. We do not do pediatric spays or neuters so a deposit is required at the time of adoption, once the dog is altered, the deposit will be returned.

Due to the American Veterinary Medical Association's recommendation to not spay/neuter dogs under 6 or 12 months depending on breed and our vets recommendation. Large-breed puppies under 6-months will not be altered prior to adoption but do require a deposit that will be returned once your dog is altered. Small breed and adults that are 6-months or older, will be done prior to adoption.

During the time spent at Forever Fido, all dogs will be socialized with many confident and social dogs of all ages, safely interact with kids of many ages, appropriately meet a variety of humans, start potty and crate training, and begin basic puppy manners including impulse control.
