Meet Gucci! This little 2.5 year old (DOB 11/6/2021) is a Dachshund/ Chihuahua mix. He is a sweet boy that loves to play with other dogs. Gucci likes his toys and is very treat motivated. This little boy was found roaming on a country road. We do not have any history on him, but he is doing great with house training, will walk on a leash, and is a work in progress with crate training. He is playful and would love some Children to play with. He has been neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and ready for his forever home. We are a private run facility supported by public donations. The first step to adopt is to submit an application on richardsonrescue.org. We review them everyday, except for Sunday (Great customer service is our goal). Once your application is approved, you may then call for an appointment.

VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION.

More about this rescue

Nestled in twelve acres of country and woods is a place for animals that are hardest to help, BIGGER dogs, abused pets and puppy mill dogs. They need more time, more space and more love than many full rescues can provide. Their adoptions sometimes take months, but they get the room and attention that they need to get back on all four feet. The problem.... not many people are willing to give them a chance. We also offer low cost spay and neutering when funding allows.
