Meet Murray, a charming 1-2 year old West Highland white terrier mix. Despite a rough start, Murray is thriving in his foster home and is ready to find his forever family.
This resilient pup has quickly adapted to the good life, learning the ropes and embracing every moment. Murray's favorite pastime includes romping around in the backyard, exploring every nook and cranny with boundless energy.
He's also started to master the art of potty training and is making great strides in understanding where to do his business. At night, Murray is the perfect snuggle buddy, happily sleeping through the night on his foster mom's bed.
When it's time to unwind, Murray loves nothing more than finding a cozy spot on the couch. While he enjoys the company of humans, Murray would thrive as an only dog or with a furry companion who respects his space.
Given his background, Murray can be a bit protective of his “slot in the couch” and may get cranky if he feels his spot is being threatened. However, with patience and understanding, we have found this is easily managed.
If you're looking for a devoted friend to join your family, consider opening your heart to Murray.

Since we are a small foster home based rescue we very rarely hold adoption events. We mostly have meet and greets to approved adopters. On the rare occasion we may bring a dog or so out to an event however we do not allow on event site adoptions.

More about this rescue
The mission of our small foster home based 501C3 organization is to rescue homeless dogs with no hope; especially those living in inhumane conditions. Whether it's dogs in cramped, dirty puppy mill cages, barbaric international dog meat farms, hoarding situations or those living in the streets and shelters - we give them a brand new lease on life. Wagging Tails Dog Rescue NY provides all the dogs we save with appropriate veterinary care, loving foster homes and adopt them out to caring and responsible forever homes.
