My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Queen Reina, queen of the luck dragons! We just call her Queenie for short. This sweet and petite girl has the prettiest soft white fur, with just a couple brown spots on her back and a feathery tail. She’s beautiful, sweet, affectionate, playful, and goofy!

At just 2.5 years old, she’s still a playful and fun girl who loves to bring the party to playgroups. We think she may be a lab mix since she has that beautiful feathery tail, but with rescue it’s really just a guess. The truth is she’s probably a perfect mixture of multiple different breeds, making her wonderfully unique. She’s petite at only 43 lbs, making her the perfect size for cuddling up on the couch.

Queenie is also the queen of cuddles! This girl is so incredibly loving and affectionate. She loves everyone she meets and lavishes them with snuggles and kisses. She will jump up for attention, but it’s all in love. She will just melt into you the moment you start petting her. She would love to spend evenings with you cuddled up watching TV.

You could also say she’s the queen of doggy playgroups. This girl is such a goofball when she plays with other dogs! She is very dog social and enjoys the company of other dogs. She’s probably one you could take to the dog park or doggy daycare for play sessions. She would do great as an only dog, or with a playful doggy sibling. She passed her cat test and would probably do well with a dog-savvy cat who won’t run. She hasn’t been tested with kids yet but we think she would do well with older kids, as she might jump up and knock over little ones.

Queenie is the type of girl you could take anywhere. She is not reactive and love all people and other dogs. She rides well in the car, so she would love to go everywhere with you. She could use a little leash work, but she would be great to take on runs, hikes, to dog friendly stores and restaurants, to the beach, etc. She will be happy to go with you anywhere you want to go.

This gorgeous and sweet girl is ready to find her forever home. Apply now to bring home the queen of the luck dragons!

Currently fostered in Texas, she is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to travel to her forever home in the PNW or NE areas.

*WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health.
*To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs.

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program, prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

Three Little Pitties Rescue just celebrated our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 11,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
