Meet Charlie, the 10 year old man looking for his forever family! Don't let his age fool you, he still has play left in him and zoomies do happen when you first arrive home.
Charlie enjoys being outside and watching the outside world pass him by from a window. Loves all humans big and small, especially if they are willing to pet him and sit with him on the couch. Good with cats but can be dog selective. Charlie has done quite well with his foster sister that is around his size as well as other dogs in the neighborhood that are small.
Charlie does have a big heart, literally, which requires medication for the remainder of his life. But don't let that scare you, it simply means he has more love to give! Fully potty trained and knows the "sit" command, you can definitely teach this dog new tricks as he is willing to learn. Crates are not scary to him as long as there is a comfy bed with a fuzzy blanket inside, but he also does well being left in a room with a view while the humans are at work.

Canine Cupids' mission is to protect and improve the lives of homeless, neglected, and exceptional needs dogs and to place them in permanent, loving homes.
Canine Cupids is a Certified 501c3 Organization
DATCPLicense: 288601-DS
Canine Cupids work with animals, within our community and throughout our organization is guided by three core values: compassion, integrity and dedication.
Because every animal deserves to be loved, we feel it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless dogs, and to place them in loving permanent homes.
We strive to work with animal control agencies as well as other rescues and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless pets within our community.
At Canine Cupids our founding principle is that "ALL dogs are individuals and deserve to be regarded as such". This mindset is core to the belief system at The Animal Farm Foundation. It assists in securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs - as well as all dogs, regardless of size, color, etc.
"We owe it to all dogs to see them for who they really are, free of prejudice, stereotypes, and assumptions that are based on a known pedigree, a breed label guess, physical appearance, or their past history."*
"Breed related traits are not guaranteed. If a dog does conform to breed traits that does not mean a dog isn't an individual! Breed characteristics may contribute to a dog?s individuality, but they are not the whole story." *
Don't judge a book by its cover and don't judge a pooch by its stereotype!
