Hi, my name is Bella

I am a German Shepherd that weighs around 61 pounds and is around 3 years old

I am a very sweet dog that loves attention and when I say that I mean loves to be by your side and has some seperation anxiety. I will do little nibbles to get your attention if I don`t have your attention or want in.

I don`t mind other dogs, other dogs but I really don`t give them too much attention.

I would be best in a home with older children as I do little nibbles due to my anxiety

I would be best in a home with no cats.

If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm and Saturday 10am-3pm.

My adoption fee is $100

Submit Application

Interview

Macomb County Animal Control will verify proper preventative care history of past/current pets and verify home ownership/review a pet policy

3.
Approve Application

Once an application is approved the adoption coordinator will schedule a time with the applicant/family to meet the pet.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a meet-and-greet is successful the family has an opportunity to finalize the adoption.

5.
Pay Fee

Each pet has an established adoption fee and payment can be accepted in the form of credit/debit, check or cash.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Fees very depending on age, animal, breed, etc. Fees vary and are established by the county to help offset medical and care expenses.

You are required to fill out an adoption application that is subject to review. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason. If you would like to adopt and dog and already have a dog/s, please bring your dog/s with you so we can make sure the dogs get along. If you rent your home, live in a condo or mobile home community, please bring proof that you are allowed to have pets.
