Freya is a darling little girl! About 8-9 lbs and sweet as can be. She’s about 13 years old, has an awesome appetite and is quite independent. She’s a girl who knows her own mind! She loudly lets me know when she is hungry and is ready to eat. Even if it’s not breakfast or dinner time yet! And don’t you dare put her in a crate. She will let you know at full volume that she can’t abide a crate. She’s just a spirited, bossy little thing! But such a love! She loves her bed and her dog treats especially at bedtime and gets along with other dogs and cats. She would love to live out her remaining years being loved and pampered. She certainly deserves it. She makes me laugh day after day!!

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
