My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Monica, a resilient senior with a heart of gold. Despite enduring unimaginable challenges, Monica's spirit remains unbroken. Her first two years were spent in a dog fight ring, followed by two more in a shelter. After a brief taste of home life, she found herself abandoned once again. But through it all, Monica has persevered. Although she's selective with other dogs, Monica's loyalty knows no bounds. She thrives as the center of attention and would flourish as your one and only companion. Despite finding some lumps, they've been determined to be non-cancerous. Monica is a survivor in every sense of the word, and she's ready to spend her golden years surrounded by love and comfort. With basic commands under her belt, kennel-trained, vaccinated, housebroken, spayed, and microchipped, Monica is more than ready to become the cherished member of a loving family. If you're looking to offer a forever home to a deserving soul, Monica is waiting to fill your life with joy and gratitude.

More about this rescue

Justice for Samson Animal Rescue, a 501(c)3 rescue organization, is committed to more than just saving dogs. Our goal is to educate the community on the importance of vetting, spay/neuter and micro-chipping their pet. We aim to help the public with low cost spay/neuter.
