If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Winnie is an incredibly sweet, active, and spunky girl. She is 2 years old. She is fiercely protective of her family and loved ones. Her ideal home would be one without young kids or animals- specifically children under 5 and cats/small animals. We have 2 young kids and unfortunately she is just too active and excitable to be around them, has nipped at both of them (not aggressively - just playfully). She IS human male aggressive with strangers, (has never bitten anyone) but once she warms up she is a total sweetheart. Unfortunately, most of her time indoors recently has been spent in a crate. I have been struggling with the idea of rehoming her for awhile, and it’s a really difficult decision. It’s been really hard to separate her from our cats and kids, and she deserves SO much better than a life spent in a crate. We will keep her until we can find an ideal family match for her - a vet reference is a requirement. Willing to waive the rehoming fee entirely if we find a perfect match.
