Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Vesta! This little lady has had A LONG week, now she's ready to head into the weekend with a forever family! We haven't had Vesta for very long but she has definitely got a lot of love underneath those adorable curls! Vesta is a bit nervous right now due to all the recent changes in her life but with a little TLC you'll have a sparkling friend! Vesta has done AMAZING with other dogs and would likely do well with cats and gentle kids too!

More about this shelter
We are the only shelter in Cedar County, Iowa. We take in homeless dogs and cats and help them to find carefully screened, lifelong, and nurturing homes. FOA serves Cedar County, Iowa.
When you adopt, you’re not just giving a deserving dog or cat a home. You’re also reducing the demand for puppy mills and other industrial-scale breeding operations that put profits before animal welfare. Homeless, scared, abused, neglected or surrendered, whatever the circumstance may be, our goal is to give all animals the chance to feel loved, wanted and special. After all, their souls are pure, and they deserve only the best from us.
