Marshall's DOB is Oct 31,2023 He is one of the best-behaved pups we have ever met. He is always polite and knows his boundaries.
He spends his entire day playing with the other dogs in his foster home and running in the yard. He loves his humans. Even while playing, he will take a few minutes and stop what he is doing just to give his human a cuddle, then right back to playing. After his meals he always takes a little nap. He will need a fenced yard in his new home. Another dog to play with would be a plus BUT not a deal breaker as long as his new Mom/Dad had a way to keep him busy. Marshall would fit into any scenario. Marshall is a very special boy and will need a very special forever home. We do not recommend toddlers with any very active puppy. Young school-aged children would be fine if the child has been taught respect for animals.
Marshall is house trained to a doggie door. He would need to learn your system. Marshall is up to date with all of his vetting. He is Neutered and on preventives.
This is an UPDATE we attended a Girl Scout informational meeting with Marshall on 5/15/2024. He was a perfect gentleman. The kids were petting him all at one time and he enjoyed every second of it.
If you have questions about Marshall, please contact his foster Mom Linda pooch@twcny.rr.com if you would like to adopt Marshall, please visit our site www.gertiessmalldogrescue.org to submit an application.

Gerties Small Dog Rescue, Inc is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization devoted to rescuing and small breed dogs under 20 pounds who have been neglected, abused and thrown away. We have over 15 years of experience in the use of positive reinforcement to overcome any issues our fosters come to us with. We provide a loving Foster home, vet care and training to give these little wonders the confidence they need to become a loving member of a family. Through an adoption process, we find them forever homes and a family to call their own. We are a small organization made up of volunteers who have a deep love for dogs and a desire to help as many of them as possible.
