Maisey is an approximately 2 year old Husky. She was found wandering a neighborhood in Fort Worth, TX with a chain around her neck. She was underweight and had recently given birth to a litter of puppies. We aren't sure where Maisey's puppies are now, but we are glad Maisey is safe!
Maisey is friendly with other dogs, but we aren't sure about the kitties. If going to a home with cats, it'll be important that the cat is full grown and can handle itself. Slow introductions will be a must, and no kittens for this girl.
Maisey loves to "talk" and give "hugs." She is medium to high energy and will always be up for a walk, but is then perfectly content to chill on the couch for hours. She walks gently on a leash, but may dart after a squirrel or bunny, so a harness is helpful. Maisey would do best in a home with a yard, and would appreciate another dog to play with!
Maisey is sweet, goofy, a fun mix of playful and mellow, and will make the right home very happy!
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
