Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Nessa, and I am lucky to be here telling my story. I am a 6-month-old 20 lb female Siberian Husky/Shepherd mix puppy who was dumped in a neighborhood in Von Ormy Texas along with all of my siblings. An angry neighbor decided that killing us was easier than calling animal control, so he brought out his rifle and started shooting. One of us died in the street, one was shot twice but survived, and I ran off with a few of my siblings completely terrified but unharmed. Thankfully a lady who fosters for 4 Little Paws heard the commotion, called the cops, raced the shot pup to an emergency vet, and found the rest of us the following morning. Now a month later, we are all feeling great, ready for adoption, and the man is in jail. :-)
I am an exceptionally sweet and loveable girl, polite and well-behaved, and I love everyone! From kids to grownups, men and women, strangers, a kitty cat who lives here, and all other dogs of every shape and size. I have a wonderfully calm demeanor, I’m playful and happy, have a beautiful personality, and if you need some love, I’m affectionate and snuggly. I love doggy toys and treats and when there is nobody to play with I’ll play alone with my toys. I'm almost housebroken and use a doggy door, and at night when the doggy door closes I know how to use a potty pad. My foster mom says I’m wonderful and that nothing gets me down. Not even trips to the vet or being shot at could dampen my spirit and love for life. I am ready to be adopted and will be moving to Connecticut to find you!
