My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chicky, a feline with a spirit as free as a bird. She's an adult cat who carries an air of independence, perfect for those who appreciate a pet with a touch of autonomy. Although she can be a bit shy, given time and patience, Chicky will slowly reveal her affectionate side. She's an indoor-outdoor cat, capable of entertaining herself with the wonders of nature, yet also content to lounge indoors. Her adaptable nature makes her an ideal companion for a variety of households. Adopting Chicky means welcoming a friend who will respect your space, yet still offer you her quiet companionship when you need it most.

Looking for an indoor/outdoor kitty or "working cat"? Chicky might be the one for you! Our staff can help you with safe acclimation tips!

As always, introductions to existing family members should be done slowly and over time. Our adoptions team will give you suggestions on how to introduce your new family member! Visit anytime! The Adoption Center is open Tuesday-Saturday from 12pm-5pm. Appointments are not required for adoptions!
