My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet staff and volunteer favorite, Leaf! Leaf is the biggest mushball and we are all in love with him. He recently spent some time in a foster home where he was amazing! His temporary parent's told us that Leaf and their 4 year old 9 pound dog were like "two pees in a pod". Leaf got along great with his little human sister as well, he's very gentle! In fact, they told us that "he is one of the most docile big lovable dog ever"! Unfortunately Leaf wasn't getting along with the resident kitty so he's looking for a new home that is feline free! Leaf hates being in his kennel and is getting very stressed so we are super eager to find him a home asap. We love him so much and know you will too. Meet him at our Chelsea location today!

If this animal is located at our Manhattan Adoption Center, head in to meet them and see if you are a match! We are a same-day adoption center, and an application does not put you on a list or hold an animal for you. If they are in a foster home, please submit an online application and our team will reach out to further discuss the adoption process.
