My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Milo came to us from LA, where he'd been an outdoor cat for some time. He can be a little standoffish at first, but then he loves pets. Once he gets comfortable he'll head butt you for pets and roll on his back. He is good with other cats with proper introductions. Milo came to us with allergic dermatitis from having a bad case of fleas while outside. Now that he is indoor-only and has gotten prescription flea control, his skin is healing and he should never have that problem again!

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
