Duvall is a very handsome and winning border collie mix possible with australian shepherd or something like that. He is a 9 month old puppy and is about 30 pounds, expecting to get a bit bigger as he grows to maturity, but he will not be large. He is luck to have come to us from a very over crowded shelter in Kansas. They need so much help down there that we are bringing in a few of these cute kids. He is great with other dogs and is very appreciative of all the attention he can muster up. I am sure frisbee and ball playing is in his future. He is now Neutered and microchipped and fully vaccinated and ready to go. His fee is $250 to pay for his surgery and medical work and the trip up here to his forever home. Our adoption fees do vary depending on the animal and all pets go to new owners already spayed and neutered, vaccinated and wormed. All adopters are given a two week adoption trial with an exchange guarantee if the animal does not work out. We require a completed adoption application, which is on line on our website, and a signed care contract. All pets go out with a copy of their signed agreement and a copy of their medical record. Fees for adult cats are $60-75 and kittens are $75. Fees for dogs are $125 to $200 for adult mixed breed up to $300 for purebred, small dog puppies.

Go meet their pets

TRACS offers appointments daily 1-5 PM during the week excluding Mondays to see and meet adoptable pets. Tracs also adopts cats and kittens from Petsmart in Missoula, Montana. We have adoption days for dogs and cats at Petsmart additionally about 6 times a year. We also attend annual adoption events in the Missoula and Kalispell areas of Montana.

TRACS has been in operation for 7 years and we have taken in and adopted out 3000 animals (as of 11/1/2013). We are mostly volunteers and pride ourselves on the fact that we have a new facility (small and humble but very comfortable) and have had for 2 years. We are a small budget organization and we receive no municipal or county support. We totally depend on donations to keep up our good work. We accept all donations of food, bedding, litter, or anything else that folks like to give us. Of course, monetary contributions are very much needed and are fully tax deductible.
