My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, my name is Bluey and I'm a handsome male brown tabby kitten looking for my forever home! I was rescued as a little kitten by a kind lady, but sadly she couldn't keep me because her older cat didn't get along with me very well. But that's okay because now I have the chance to find a loving family who will cherish me. I played a bit to rough with some young kids, but I love to snuggle up on laps and purr my heart out. If you're looking for a new furry friend who will bring lots of love and joy into your life, then I'm the perfect kitten for you. Come meet me and see for yourself how special I am! I can't wait to find my forever family and start making unforgettable memories together. Let's make each other's lives complete. Adopt me today! More about this rescue

Friends of Rescue Animals (FRAs) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization.  FRAs was founded in 2004 and started off with 4 volunteers that wanted to support the Rowlett Animal Shelter.

Our organization has grown to 400 volunteers supporting both the Rowlett Animal Shelter and the Garland Animal Shelter. With this growth now we are able to host multiple off-site adoption events, sponsor heartworm treatments program, operate our own cat rescue program, and so much more!
