My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Introducing Lorn, a brave and resilient male puppy whose story is a testament to the power of compassion and resilience. Born into chaos and hardship, Lorn's journey began amidst a seizure in Leon Valley, where he and his siblings faced unimaginable challenges.

Separated by animal control and left to fend for themselves, Lorn and seventeen other puppies found themselves trapped in an old water fountain, exposed to the scorching sun without food or water. In the face of such adversity, it was the swift action of a compassionate individual that turned the tide for these innocent pups.

A good Samaritan alerted local rescues, who wasted no time in rushing to the aid of the stranded puppies. Amidst the chaos, Lorn and five of his siblings were rescued from the dire situation and brought to our rescue.  Their lives forever changed by the kindness of strangers.

Despite the trauma of his past, Lorn's spirit remains unbroken. With each passing day, he embraces the love and care bestowed upon him by his rescuers, his resilient nature shining through. As he explores his new surroundings, Lorn's playful demeanor and boundless energy serve as a reminder of the joy found in second chances.

Now safe and sound in the care of our rescue, Lorn eagerly awaits the opportunity to find his forever home. With a heart full of love and gratitude, he invites you to welcome him into your life, where he promises to be a loyal and devoted companion. If you're ready to open your heart to this courageous pup, Lorn eagerly awaits the chance to embark on a new chapter filled with love, laughter, and endless adventures.

Lorn was born around 1/25/2024, weighs 16.4 as of 04/25/24.  He will be around 35 to 40 pounds fully grown.  You can apply for this love bug at www.adoggie4you.org.  His adoption fee is $300.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.

Additional adoption info

Adoption application is required. Applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. A picture of your home or yard may be requested

All dogs and puppies are fully vetted prior to adoption (spay/neuter, rabies, 3 DHPP, bordetella, heartworm test/treat if positive) and are micro-chipped.

Our fees start at $200, transport out of Texas is arranged by us and is generally an additional $200.
We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet. Our contract requires if an adoption does not work out the dog is to be returned to us. We need at least two weeks notice.

Our dogs are posted on our website. Generally they live at our facility located on a beautiful 100 acre ranch in Texas. We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dog. We pride ourselves in providing a complete and honest evaluation of each dog to ensure the best possible placement for both the dog and the adopter. We welcome your visit to our facility in Texas.
