This supports all rescue dogs for vetting, foods and whatever they need.
We are all volunteers.
Meet our puppy. Sammie is also known as a Shichon, a Shihtzu- Bichon mix, a very fancy "designer" dog. The dog was from a breeder going out of business in Arkansas and they asked us to help them find this dog and many others find good homes. WE ARE STILL LEARNING ABOUT THEM, but want them in homes ASAP. They have lived a somewhat sheltered life but they are very sweet and friendly. With some added training they will join your family somewhat seamlessly. We do ask that our adopters be experienced dog owners. These dogs make fabulous family dogs, extremely popular and rare to find on rescue, so do not delay.

Our dogs are fully vetted and microchipped.
OUR PROCEDURE: We will choose the dog's possible family as soon as we see a match. We will phone you and further discuss, fill out the application with as much information as possible and be sure to LIKE our FACEBOOK PAGE too. The dog will be in Rhode Island for a meet and greet on Saturday May 25. If you are not available please DO NOT APPLY. THE ENTIRE FAMILY MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE MEETING. If all goes well, you will take the dog home that day as by then all references will have been checked. Please realize, it is our goal to get the dogs into the right homes as soon as possible and no shows are not good for the dogs and other serious dog families. Do not forget to tell your past vet to allow for references and PLEASE NO FAMILY MEMBERS for references. Don't get disqualified for silly things.
If you can provide a FABULOUS home please file our free application (see link above) and tell us why we should let you adopt our wonderful rescue. The more you tell us the better picture we have of the home you can provide for our rescue
Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do save applications, but you may put multiple names on one application. If you have already applied in the past, then please send us a message with your name and what dog you are now interested in being considered for and we will pull off the server. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted. If you don't see any information you need to know, we probably don't have an answer....like cats...idk...
