Venus is a 12 week old Hound mix that has spent the last two weeks learning all new things with a trainer. Venus is a very smart girl and has learned commands and is learning how to be off leash and has great recall. She walks great on a leash also. Venus is house and crate trained and travels well in a car. She does well with cats but will chase them so a dog savvy cat would do well. Venus has some hound traits and loves to use her nose to find things. She would do great with an owner who would like to do scent work. At just 12 weeks old this little girl is off to a great start thanks to her trainer Sam. She would do great in a home where her owner will continue her obedience class. Her adoption donation does include a refresher course with her trainer Sam in a few months. Venus is ready for adventures like hiking, camping and meeting new people. The first step of our adoption process is an application. Please submit the application via email to the contact on the listing.

Approve Application

If an application is approved, the foster will contact you to set up a meet and greet.

Meet the Pet

Meet and greets are set up only with an approved application.

Additional adoption info

Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, Microchip, UTD shots, deworming and take home bag.

Being that we do not have a facility, we do adoption events at the local pet stores. Meet and greets are set up with an approved application only.

More about this rescue

Bridge To Home is a foster based all volunteer rescue group dedicated to helping the unwanted, abandoned and neglected dogs. We have rescued more than 1,000 in our two years of existence. We do monthly adoption events at local pet stores.
