Hey there! My name is Mozart and I'm a 1 and a half year old American Staffordshire Terrier boy who came into the shelter in April! People may think I look a little scary because of my breed, but really I'm a very sweet and loveable guy who really loves to get snuggles. I also love toys and yummy treats make me wag my tail! The San Gabriel Valley Humane Society (SGVHS) was founded by Fannie Thompson Kessler in 1924.

For almost 100 years, the San Gabriel Valley Humane Society has provided a variety of services to the local communities. Currently we serve the cities of San Gabriel, Temple City and Duarte.

We provide food, shelter and medical care to hundreds of dogs and cats who are stray and homeless, or have been rescued from abusive conditions or relinquished by their owners.
