This adorable little dude is Astro! He was surrendered to the shelter on 5/12 because his family could not have dogs where they are currently living. They did leave us with lots of great information. Astro is house and crate-trained, and he is good with cats, dogs, and kids. The volunteers describe Astro as a typical puppy: playful, friendly, and curious. He sits nicely when asked, and walks well on leash! If you have the time, patience, and energy for a puppy, please come meet Astro!
Astro is 16 weeks old, and he weighs 22 lbs. He will most likely be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. Astro is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Astro is waiting in run 333; his ID # is 657526.

The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip. When you book an apt., it does not reserve a particular pet for you.
